Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon, the sequel to the popular 2014 action-adventure game Oceanhorn, was officially announced in 2023. Developed by Cornfox & Bros. and published by Hinterland Studio, the game continues the mythic journey of the young hero, now wielding the power of time itself.
Set in the same richly detailed world as its predecessor, Chronos Dungeon introduces a time-manipulation mechanic that allows players to rewind, fast-forward, and pause time to solve puzzles, defeat enemies, and uncover hidden truths. The story follows the protagonist as they seek to restore balance to a fractured world plagued by temporal rifts and ancient evils.
The game features enhanced graphics, a deeper narrative, and a more expansive open world with dynamic weather, day-night cycles, and evolving environments. Players can expect a mix of hack-and-slash combat, exploration, and challenging dungeon crawling, all set to an atmospheric orchestral score.
Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon is currently in development and is expected to launch in 2024 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Steam). A Nintendo Switch version is also in the works.

Clair Obscur Unveils Esquie Plushie, Warns of Fakes
October 26, 2023 — Tokyo, Japan — The enigmatic multimedia collective Clair Obscur has officially launched its highly anticipated limited-edition plushie, the Esquie Plushie, inspired by their cryptic character Esquie—a mysterious figure from their immersive digital universe. Any unauthorized replicas—whether sold on third-party marketplaces, social media, or unverified resellers—are not only illegal but may contain harmful materials or substandard craftsmanship."
The collective emphasized that counterfeit versions have already begun circulating online, often sold at significantly lower prices. These fakes, they claim, lack the intricate details, proper stitching, and digital authentication features that make the original a sought-after collectible.
To help fans verify authenticity, Clair Obscur has introduced a "True Esquie Verification Portal" on their website. Users can scan the QR code on their plushie and cross-reference serial numbers with the official database. Verified plushies also unlock a digital "Spirit Key"—a wearable NFT badge that grants access to future Clair Obscur AR experiences.
Fans are urged to report suspected fakes using the form on the official site. The collective has also hinted at a surprise limited drop of a "Shadow Esquie" variant, which will only be available to verified owners of the original plushie.
Clair Obscur says:
