Naturally, this title will appeal most strongly to older-school gamers—particularly those eager to pre-register on the iOS App Store for a discounted launch price.
While Rotterra's mechanics and themes remain relevant today, I always perceive it as something distinctly retro at first glance. That is not necessarily a flaw, of course. It is easy to understand why Dig-It might be planning to move forward with new projects, though hopefully this won't be the last we see of the Roterra franchise.
