A speaker and larger screen are recommended for optimal use. The app announces game phases and alerts players when it's their turn, eliminating human error. The app offers two card dealing methods:
Method 1: The app distributes roles, and players take turns viewing their assignments on the device.
Method 2: Use standard or custom Mafia playing cards. The first eliminated player then enters each active player's role into the app.
Two voting systems are available:
Method 1: A system-managed vote. Players are nominated one-by-one, accumulating votes until a player is eliminated. The first player is chosen randomly.
Method 2: Traditional voting. Players vote sequentially for any player, with the first vote randomly selected.
Three game modes are supported:
- Open: Eliminated players' roles are revealed.
- Closed: Eliminated players' roles remain hidden. The app simulates their night actions.
- Semi-Closed: Roles of players eliminated during the day vote are revealed; night actions of eliminated players are simulated by the app.
