Hearts Offline Gameplay

Objective: Avoid collecting hearts and the Queen of Spades (penalty points). The player with the fewest points at the game's end wins.

Setup:

• Players: 3-4 players.
• Deck: Standard 52-card deck.
• Card Ranking: A (high), K, Q, J, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2.
• Dealing: Each player receives 13 cards. Remaining cards form a draw pile; the top card starts the discard pile.

Gameplay:

• Players take turns playing one card.
• The first card must match the discard pile's suit. Otherwise, any card can be played.
• The highest card of the lead suit wins the trick. The trick winner starts the next trick.
• Three card passes are allowed per game.

Scoring:

• Hearts: 1 point each.
• Queen of Spades: 13 points.
• Points accumulate over rounds.

Winning:

The game ends when a player reaches or exceeds a target score (often 100).
