"Dredge: Eldritch Fishing Sim Launches on Mobile This Month"

Author : Joshua Jun 03,2025

The eagerly awaited eldritch fishing simulation game, Dredge, is finally setting sail for mobile platforms on February 27th. This marks another adjustment to its initial release timeline, which has seen several delays over time.

In Dredge, players assume the role of a nameless fisherman navigating the eerie waters surrounding a desolate archipelago. The core objective is straightforward—catch fish and trade them with the island dwellers. However, the journey quickly spirals into something far more intricate, involving the maintenance and enhancement of your vessel, uncovering the mysteries lurking within the archipelago, and confronting the unsettling unknowns hidden in the misty nights.

As previously reported, the highly anticipated mobile version of Dredge was postponed until February 2025, and now that date is fast approaching. While the iOS App Store has been updated with this new release date, the Android Google Play store listing remains unavailable.

Oh, I do love to be beside the seaside.
Beyond the casual charm of fishing, Dredge offers a surprisingly robust upgrade system and a touch of Lovecraftian horror to keep players on their toes. Although details about potential DLC remain scarce, the existing expansions for the main game have already expanded the archipelago’s depth significantly.

With its minimalist yet captivating visual style, Dredge seems destined to become a beloved favorite among mobile gamers. Fans of the genre are likely thrilled to see this release finally come to fruition.
