Odynhorn: Chronos Dungeon, the highly anticipated sequel to the popular action RPG Odynhorn: Monster Hunter (often referred to as Odynhorn), has officially been announced. Developed by Saber Interactive and published by Humble Games, the game is set to launch in 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
Building on the success of the original, Odynhorn: Chronos Dungeon takes players on a deeper, more immersive journey through a fractured timeline where ancient gods and time-warping dungeons threaten to unravel reality itself. The sequel introduces a dynamic time-manipulation mechanic that allows players to rewind, fast-forward, and alter environmental events to solve puzzles, reshape battles, and uncover hidden story arcs.
Key features include:
New Protagonist: Players assume the role of Kaelen, a time-walker cursed with the ability to see multiple timelines, wielding the legendary Chronos Blade.
Time-Shift Combat: Fight enemies across different time phases—past, present, and future—each with unique abilities and weaknesses.
Evolving Dungeons: Explore procedurally generated "Chrono-Dungeons" that shift and change based on player choices and time events.
Expanded Lore: A rich narrative that weaves together mythology, fate, and free will, with branching storylines that respond to player decisions.
Co-op Mode: Team up with friends in multiplayer mode (up to 4 players) to conquer time-bending raids and ancient rifts.
The announcement was revealed during a special showcase hosted by Humble Games, featuring a cinematic teaser, gameplay footage, and a live demo of the new time-manipulation combat system.
“We wanted to expand the world of Odynhorn not just with bigger battles and deeper lore, but with a core mechanic that fundamentally changes how players experience every dungeon, every fight, and every choice,” said creative director Marina Tolo.
Fans of the original can expect a darker, more mature tone, enhanced graphics powered by Unreal Engine 5, and a haunting orchestral score composed by Ólafur Arnalds.
Odynhorn: Chronos Dungeon will be available on all major platforms in Q2 2025, with a deluxe edition including a digital artbook, soundtrack, and exclusive in-game cosmetic items.

Only 500 units were produced, and all sales support the collective’s ongoing digital art installations and community outreach initiatives.
