Mau Mau, a beloved card game popular across Serbia, Bosnia, Croatia, and Montenegro, now comes to your mobile device with "Mau King." This app lets you play online with real players from the region, fostering friendships through friendly competition. See how accurately it recreates the game you already know and love!
Game rules (also available at https://mauking.com/pravila-igre-mau-mau):
- Starts with one card on the table and six in each player's hand.
- First player to empty their hand wins.
- Match cards by number or suit on your turn.
- Draw a card if you can't match; pass if you still can't.
- "Raise your hand" (use the Hand button) before playing your second-to-last card.
Special Cards:
- Jack: Playable on any card (except another Jack). Choose the next player's suit.
- Eight: Skips the next player's turn.
- Seven: Forces the next player to draw two cards (unless they also have a seven, then the following player draws four, and so on).
- Queen: Reverses the playing direction.
- Ace: Allows an extra turn (you can't win with an Ace).
- Two of Clubs: Forces the next player to draw four cards.
