Samsung revealed a total of six Mini-LED TV models for 2025, and three of them are available for purchase starting today. The Neo QLED QN990F and QN900F are true 8K TVs with incremental improvements like the new anti-glare tech, the One Connect wireless transmitter box, and access to Samsung's Art Store, previously exclusive to the Frame TVs. The Neo QLED QN90F, QN85F, QN80F, and QN70F are the new 4K Mini-LED models. The top-tier QN90F boasts a 165Hz refresh rate, the Gen 3 processor, and an anti-glare coating, similar to the S95F. The mid-range QN85F is Samsung's first 100" TV.

The new OLED TVs - the S95F, S90F, and S85F - feature several incremental upgrades over their predecessors. The flagship S95F model includes the new NQ4 AI Gen 3 processor, a 165Hz refresh rate, an improved anti-glare coating, and an upgraded QD OLED panel promising up to 2,000 nits of brightness. The S90F comes with the Gen 3 processor, a 144Hz refresh rate with VRR, and a QD OLED panel with up to 1,300 nits of brightness (for TV models 55" and up). The S85F, the "budget" OLED TV, features a Gen 2 processor and is the only model currently available.
2025 Samsung The Frame Pro Art TV
Not yet released
The Frame Pro is set to debut this year alongside the standard Frame TV. The Frame Pro will feature a superior Neo QLED Mini-LED panel for richer and brighter colors, a 144Hz refresh rate, new anti-glare technology, and wireless connections via a "One Connect" box that can be discreetly stowed away. The standard The Frame TV will also be available, likely at a more affordable price.
Samsung QN90D (2024) Review by Jaron Schneider
Samsung's 2024 mini LED QN90D is a highly refined television that enhances its interface and introduces new features, increasing its overall value. While it comes with a premium price tag, its exceptional brightness, color quality, multiple HDMI 2.1 ports, and built-in gaming features justify the cost.
AI and Anti-Glare Tech Are the Highlights for Samsung
Following industry trends, Samsung is heavily investing in AI for 2025. Their "Vision AI" technology can recognize the content you're watching, including specifics like actors or settings, and provide real-time personalized commentary. Additionally, more models will feature AI Upscaling Pro and AI Motion Enhancer Pro to optimize image quality on-the-fly. Other AI-driven features include Active Voice Amplifier Pro for voice enhancement, AI Optimization, and AI Energy Mode.
Samsung is also expanding the use of their matte-like anti-glare coating, first seen on the S95D in 2024. This technology minimizes reflections without desaturating the image, a common issue with anti-glare coatings from other brands.
