Hunting down poachers in the Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Bird of Prey quest can be tricky. The game doesn't hand you their locations on a platter, so here's a guide to help you track them all down. Remember, you can choose to apprehend them peacefully, but killing them will impact your reputation.
Finding the Poachers in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2's Bird of Prey Quest
Poacher #1
This first poacher is relatively easy to find. After initiating the quest, head north of the pond, enter the forest, and navigate through the taller shrubs. You'll discover their camp fairly quickly. This poacher is easily persuaded to surrender; you can then let them go or hand them over to the bailiff. Secure a piece of their equipment as proof regardless.
Poacher #2
Poacher #2 proves more challenging. While speaking with quest-related NPCs might narrow your search, the image above pinpoints their location. This poacher is less cooperative and may require high persuasion skills or, as the author experienced, more forceful methods. Remember to take their equipment as proof.
Poacher #3
Located in Slatego Forest (information from Gravedigger Ignatius near Apollonia helps), this hunt requires battling wolves. You'll find two locations relevant to this poacher. The first is an empty camp, offering some searchable items. Head west to the second location where you'll discover the poacher's remains, guarded by wolves. After dealing with the wolves, collect a piece of their equipment as proof.
Poacher #4
This encounter is more dangerous, involving three poachers deep within the woods. Instead of a direct confrontation, focus on gathering proof: examine the deer corpse, deer skin, and hanging deer carcass. Once you've examined these items, report your findings to the gamekeeper, who will then handle the apprehension.
Poacher #5
The final poacher, Hans, is found near the rocks on the western edge of the marked search area. As an old friend of Henry’s, apprehension isn't an option; collect his poaching kit as evidence instead.
Completing the Bird of Prey quest requires locating all five poachers. Remember to prioritize peaceful solutions whenever possible to avoid reputation penalties.
