Aladdin Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley: Full Guide and Rewards

Disney Dreamlight Valley has thrilled fans by introducing Aladdin and Princess Jasmine in the free Tales of Agrabah update, allowing players to bring these beloved characters into Dreamlight Valley. Here's a detailed guide on all of Aladdin's quests, how to unlock them, and the rewards you can earn through his Friendship Path.

Aladdin’s Friendship Quests in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Upon arriving in Dreamlight Valley, Aladdin will invite you to hang out with the Magic Carpet. To complete the quest "Carpet Diem," which begins in the Agrabah realm, equip the Carpet as a Companion from the wardrobe menu and snap a selfie with it.

Good As Gold (Level 2 Friendship)

To unlock Aladdin's Level 2 quest, "Good As Gold," increase your friendship by giving him his favorite gifts. Aladdin will then share that his friend Scrooge McDuck needs help testing a new security system. Start by talking to Scrooge and then take photos in his shop of:

• A door that guards more treasure than the Cave of Wonders.
• A way to reach the second floor of the shop (x2).
• Ways to make quick escapes from the guards (x3).

Capture the vault door behind the desk and both staircases, aiming for broad shots to meet all requirements. Next, discuss the plan with Aladdin, who suggests dressing in dark, sporty clothing. Although optional, waiting until nightfall (6 p.m. to 6 a.m.) can enhance the experience.

Once dressed for the mission, enter the shop and talk to Aladdin. Trigger the security system test by pressing the large, red button on the wall left of the counter. This transforms the store into its "closed" state, featuring pools of light and buttons that you must navigate to avoid detection.

Navigate carefully, starting with the center button as directed by Aladdin, then move to the back right wall to turn off two upstairs lights. Press the button above the right staircase to shift the spotlight, then the one above the left staircase to turn off the light not covering the center button. Press the center button again to disable the light at the bottom of the right staircase.

Downstairs, press the button on the right side of the counter to move the spotlight away from the staircase. Use the button on the left display counter to turn off the light over the security test button, then press the button on the left side of the counter. Talk to Aladdin in front of the vault.

You'll then need to collect four floating coins inside the shop by gliding and smashing the interact button. After collecting them, give them to Aladdin, who mentions that some coins have escaped into Dreamlight Valley. Exit the shop to find yourself in front of your house, where you'll glide around to collect nine more coins. Deliver these to Aladdin at his house.

Finally, take a photo with Aladdin and the gold pile, then listen to him and Scrooge discuss the mission. Talk to Aladdin to complete the "Good As Gold" quest.

Bring Your Own Carpet (Level 4 Friendship)

With Aladdin now settled in Dreamlight Valley, he wants to craft a Dreamlight Magic Carpet similar to his original companion from Agrabah. Start by talking to Merlin, who directs you to the Dreamlight Library to find three books: Fabric Enchantment, Carpet Weaving, and Flying Technique. Locate these books on the floor next to the book pile in the back left corner, on the shelf against the back right wall, and to the left of the desk in the center of the room.

Hand the books to Aladdin, who will then send you to Minnie for assistance in gathering supplies for the carpet. Collect:

• 4 Dream Shards
• 4 Blue Hydrangeas (Dazzle Beach)
• 4 Purple Bell Flowers (Forest of Valor)
• 25 Fiber (Kristoff’s Stall, Crafting)

Bring these supplies to Aladdin and Jasmine's house. After he crafts the Dreamlight Magic Carpet, accept the Magic Scroll from him and interact with the carpet to make it fly. Talk to Aladdin again to receive the carpet, then follow him to the Disney castle entrance.

Aladdin has planned a tour around the Valley to enjoy the sights on your new magic carpet. He provides snacks to maintain your energy, as the Dreamlight Magic Carpet is a Glider skin requiring you to overfill your energy bar (yellow) to use it.

Equip the Dreamlight Magic Carpet from the wardrobe menu and start the tour by gliding under the banner in the Plaza’s main square. Navigate through the Forest of Valor, down the ramp to Dazzle Beach, up the ramp into the Peaceful Meadow, down the stairs back to Dazzle Beach, across the bridge, and to the end of the pier. Track the quest to ensure you stay on course.

Note that the Dreamlight Magic Carpet functions like other Gliders, meaning ground obstacles will still affect your progress.

Complete the tour and talk to Aladdin to finish the "Bring Your Own Carpet" quest.

All That Glitters (Level 7 Friendship)

At Friendship Level 7, Aladdin will unlock the "All That Glitters" quest. He wants to create a bouquet for Jasmine that surpasses the palace gardens of Agrabah. Gather 4 yellow and 6 purple flowers of any type, then bring them to Aladdin. Listen as he presents the bouquet to Jasmine, who finds it as beautiful as the palace gardens.

Talk to Aladdin again, and he'll mention a scroll from Scrooge McDuck that hints at a treasure. He wants to surprise Jasmine with it. Follow the scroll's clue to "begin at the mermaid’s isle," traveling to Skull Island to find the Golden Sun Piece on the upper right side of the peninsula. Insert it into the tall rock to the left of your entry point.

Discuss the image of the broken-down pillar with Aladdin, then dig up a box in the sand to the north, fish up a pillar piece near the raft, and open a barrel near the Golden Sun Piece. Add the two pieces to the Pillar, but nothing happens. Talk to Aladdin, who suggests consulting others in Dreamlight Valley.

After speaking with Maui, Ariel, and Rapunzel, return to Ariel’s island, where Jasmine awaits, eager to help. She explains the Pillar's pieces need to be rotated according to clues on the island. Follow the clue from the Golden Sun Piece: "From the tiniest seed, water creates blooms as tall as golden towers." Rotate the middle piece to show water, the bottom piece to show a seed, and the top piece to show a flower.

Collect the treasure that appears in the water and give it to Aladdin. Listen as Jasmine reveals that the true treasure is a lifetime of adventure with Aladdin. Accept the golden tea set furniture item to complete the "All That Glitters" quest.
