Albion Online has kicked off 2025 with a thrilling update titled Rogue Frontier, embracing the theme of living on the edge. This update introduces a brand-new faction, innovative trading methods, and exciting new weapons, allowing you to join an underground network of outcasts who thrive by making their own rules.

The Smugglers epitomize rebellion and defiance against the Royal Continent's stringent rules. They've established themselves in the lawless wilds, setting up hidden Smuggler's Dens where you can establish a base, store your loot, and engage in various illicit activities. These dens are equipped with banks, repair stations, and travel planners to facilitate your movements. They form part of a Smuggler's Network, a new trading system that connects the Outlands, allowing you to move goods without the usual taxes and complications from the Royal Continent, albeit at a cost to the Smugglers themselves.
With the introduction of the Smugglers as a full-fledged faction, you can undertake missions to demonstrate your loyalty. These could involve tracking down and recovering stolen Smuggler Crates from ambushed wagons or rescuing captured Smugglers from the Royal Guards. Completing these tasks earns you Smuggler’s Coins, which you can use to advance your standing within their ranks.
Let’s Look Beyond the Smuggler Action
The Rogue Frontier Update doesn't stop at the Smugglers. It also introduces several long-awaited features to Albion Online. The new Bank Overview feature allows you to easily track where all your items are stored across the game world, eliminating the hassle of remembering where you stashed that rare loot.
For PvP enthusiasts, Kill Trophies have been added, giving you a way to immortalize your most epic battles. Additionally, the Albion Journal now includes a Creatures category, challenging you to document the various beasts that roam the wild.
Three new Crystal Weapons cater to different playstyles—whether you're an explorer, a trader, or a fighter. Don't miss out on these exciting additions; head to the Google Play Store and download Albion Online to explore the Rogue Frontier update firsthand.
