This guide covers obtaining and using snacks in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp to boost friendship levels and progress.

Giving animals snacks is a fast way to increase friendship levels, which in turn increases your Camp Manager Level. Snacks are relatively rare, with Gulliver's Ship being the most reliable source. Knowing which snacks to give and how many is crucial for efficient leveling.
How to Obtain Snacks
Utilizing Gulliver's Ship Strategy
Gulliver's Ship offers the most efficient method. Sending him to special islands (gold islands) yields Villager Maps. Completing an island awards 20 Gold Treats. If you've already collected all Villager Maps, send Gulliver to any island shown. Isle of Style islands consistently provide 3 Gold Treats as a souvenir and 3 as a completion bonus.
You can see three islands at a time; one daily free refresh is available. Gulliver's Ship requires cargo (crafted in your furniture catalog). Some islands require specific furniture types; for instance, Exotic Island (for modern-themed snacks) benefits from exotic furniture like the Exotic Rug, though Plain Packages or Crates work too.
Island snack types are previewable via a magnifying glass icon. Longer expeditions (6 hours) generally yield more treats than shorter ones (4 hours or less). For example, Piano Island offers all Tart Snack variations.
Alternative Snack Sources
- Bronze, Silver, or Gold Treats can be earned by completing Requests or receiving gifts.
- Daily Goals often reward Silver and Gold Treats.
- Blathers's Treasure Trek (using Villager Maps and Auto-Trek for 5 Leaf Tokens) provides Bronze, Silver, and Gold Treats.

Understanding Snack Types
Snacks are categorized as regular (Bronze, Silver, Gold Treats) or themed. Regular snacks are universally liked. Themed snacks (e.g., Plain Donut) have three tiers:
- Plain
- Tasty
- Gourmet
Gourmet snacks provide the most friendship points, while Plain snacks offer the least. Gourmet snacks are typically found on longer expeditions.
There are 36 different snacks:

Snack Giving Mechanics
Always check an animal's theme before giving a snack. Matching themes maximize friendship points. Generic treats (Bronze, Silver, Gold) are theme-agnostic. Gold Treats provide the highest friendship points (25). Ten Gold Treats can boost a level 1 animal to level 15.
Check an animal's theme by tapping their icon at your campsite or in your Contacts/Pete's Parcel Service. To give a snack, tap the animal and select "Have a snack!" (highlighted red).
