Gameloft has partnered with Formula E to bring the GEN3 Evo race car to Asphalt Legends Unite. This exciting collaboration marks a significant moment for mobile racing fans, featuring one of the most advanced electric vehicles ever built—the pinnacle of single-seater electric racing technology.
When Can You Drive the Formula E GEN3 Evo in Asphalt Legends Unite?
From May 29th to June 11th, a special Time-Limited Event for the GEN3 Evo attracted over 593,000 global participants. Each player chose to represent one of four real-world Formula E teams: Jaguar TCS Racing, TAG Heuer Porsche, Andretti Formula E, or Nissan Formula E.
A look at the top 100 fastest racers revealed Andretti Formula E as the preferred team among the leaders, securing its victory for that event.
Now, players have a new opportunity to claim the car from July 10th to July 24th. Asphalt Legends Unite is launching a Grand Prix event structured as a play-to-unlock challenge, beginning with a training phase followed by four demanding qualifying rounds.
Racers will be grouped into heats of 20 based on comparable lap times, competing to finish at the top. The fastest drivers in each heat will unlock the GEN3 Evo for their garage, complete with its special Championship Livery.
A Closer Look at the Star Car
The Formula E GEN3 Evo debuted in Season 11. It achieves 0 to 60 mph acceleration in a mere 1.82 seconds, making it 30% faster than current Formula 1 cars. Beyond raw speed, it embodies Formula E's commitment to sustainability, with a chassis crafted from recycled carbon fibre and tires containing 38% sustainable materials.
The celebration continues in Asphalt Legends Unite with another Time-Limited Event from July 24th to July 30th, featuring Andretti Formula E to honor their previous win.
All participants in this final event will receive the Andretti livery as a free reward. This coincides with the Formula E Season 11 Finale in London. Gamers attending on July 26th-27th can visit the Formula E Gaming Arena to play Asphalt Legends Unite for free.
