Ubisoft Japan's 30th Anniversary Character Awards: Ezio Auditore Reigns Supreme!
Ezio Auditore da Firenze, the iconic Assassin's Creed protagonist, has been crowned the most popular character in Ubisoft Japan's recent Character Awards! This online competition, celebrating Ubisoft Japan's three decades of game development, saw fans vote for their top three favorite characters from across Ubisoft's extensive catalog. The voting period, which ran from November 1st, 2024, took place on Ubisoft Japan's official 30th-anniversary website.
The results, announced on Ubisoft Japan's website and X (formerly Twitter), revealed Ezio as the clear winner. To celebrate, a special webpage featuring Ezio in a unique artistic style has been launched, along with four free downloadable wallpapers (PC and mobile). A lucky 30 fans will also receive an exclusive Ezio acrylic stand set, while 10 will win a giant 180cm Ezio body pillow!
Beyond Ezio's triumph, the top ten characters were revealed, showcasing a diverse range of Ubisoft's beloved characters. Aiden Pearce from Watch Dogs secured second place, followed by Edward Kenway from Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag in third.

In a separate poll for most popular game franchise, Assassin's Creed also claimed the top spot, beating out Rainbow Six Siege and Watch Dogs. The Division and Far Cry rounded out the top five franchises.
