War Thunder Mobile Launches An Aircraft Open Beta With Tons Of New Features!

War Thunder Mobile's open beta for air battles is here! Gaijin Entertainment has unleashed a massive update packed with aerial combat. Experience over 100 planes from three nations (with more to come!).

While aircraft previously played supporting roles, this open beta introduces a full-fledged aerial tech tree and a dedicated air combat mode.

War Thunder Mobile Air Battles Open Beta: The Details

Currently, the beta features aircraft from the USA, Germany, and the USSR, including iconic planes like the P-51 Mustang, Messerschmitt Bf 109, and La-5. More nations are planned for future updates.

Players can specialize in one nation's tech tree or diversify their fleet. High-tier aircraft can be acquired via blueprints earned in in-game events, starting in early October.

The new Aviation campaign allows access to the aircraft hangar for research, upgrades, and crew management. Squadrons of up to four planes can be formed, with customizable armaments and aircraft modifications.

Gameplay and the Hangar

The aircraft hangar is your central hub. Manage your vehicles, customize camouflage, explore the tech tree, and invite friends to your squadron. Each aircraft slot offers options to swap vehicles, modify weapons, or upgrade crews. Squadrons can mix and match aircraft regardless of class, nation, or rank.

With this extensive update, War Thunder Mobile offers a wealth of new content. Download the game from the Google Play Store and join the air battles open beta today!
