Author : Lily Jan 19,2025

Pocket Gamer recently discovered Dynabytes' Fantasma at Gamescom Latam – a multiplayer augmented reality (AR) GPS adventure game. This exciting title recently received an update adding Japanese, Korean, Malay, and Portuguese language support, with German, Italian, and Spanish coming soon.

The game casts players as fighters against mischievous creatures called Fantasmas. Players use portable electromagnetic fields as bait to lure these paranormal entities into AR battles. Using your phone, you'll track and target Fantasmas, shooting virtual projectiles to deplete their health and capture them in special bottles.

Fantasmas appear based on your real-world location, encouraging exploration. Sensors can expand your detection range, bringing Fantasmas closer. Team up with other players for a more collaborative experience.

Fantasma is free-to-play (with in-app purchases) and available now on the App Store and Google Play. Download it via the links below.
