Botany Manor's PlayStation Debut Set for January 28th
Initially slated for a December 17th, 2024 release, the critically acclaimed puzzle game Botany Manor will finally arrive on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on January 28th, 2025. This charming puzzler, developed by Balloon Studios and published by Whitethorn Games, originally launched on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC in April 2024 to widespread praise.
The delay, announced shortly before the initial December release, was attributed to the developers' commitment to delivering the best possible player experience. While a new release date was promised for 2025, the January 28th launch date was confirmed on January 9th.
Although the game's PlayStation Store page remains absent, pre-ordering may not be possible yet. The PlayStation version is expected to maintain the $24.99 price point of other platforms, offering a one-time purchase without microtransactions. The digital soundtrack, available separately on Steam, is unlikely to be offered on PlayStation.
Botany Manor's strong reception, boasting an 83/100 average score and 92% recommendation rate on OpenCritic, positions it as a welcome addition to the PlayStation puzzle game library. Its relaxing gameplay, clever puzzles, and immersive atmosphere have already captivated players on other platforms.
Joining Botany Manor on the PlayStation Store on January 28th are Cuisineer, Eternal Strands, and The Son of Madness. With its PlayStation release, Botany Manor will be available on all initially planned platforms. Balloon Studios has yet to announce its next project.
