Season 2 of *Call of Duty: Black Ops 6* has officially launched, bringing with it an exciting new feature that simplifies the progression grind. The Camo Challenge Tracking system is a game-changer, making it easier for players to keep tabs on their progress. Here's a quick guide on how to make the most of this feature.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Simplifies Camo Challenge Progress
The latest update to *Call of Duty: Black Ops 6* introduces the Camo Challenge Tracking system, described in the patch notes as: "The Challenge Tracker makes it easy for players to manually track up to 10 Camo and 10 Calling Card Challenges they're actively working toward, but there's another element of this system that we think players will find useful on the journey to Dark Matter, Nebula, and 100 Percenter: Near Completion." This feature allows players to manually select up to 10 camos to monitor, making it easy to check progress during gameplay without constantly returning to the main menu. Additionally, the tracker sends notifications for challenges nearing completion, even if they're not among those selected for tracking.

How to Track Camo and Calling Card Challenges in Black Ops 6
To start tracking a challenge, navigate to the desired Camo or Calling Card challenge. Press the Y button on an Xbox controller or the Triangle button on a PlayStation controller to add it to your tracker. This allows you to monitor your progress in real-time during matches, rather than waiting until the end to see what's next. Even without manually selecting challenges, the game will automatically populate with those you're closest to completing, making them readily accessible for review.
In the *Call of Duty: Black Ops 6* lobby, you can find the top tracked or near-complete camo and calling card challenges in the Daily Challenge section, giving you a full list of what's close to being unlocked.
The Season 2 update also makes unlocking special camos more manageable. Previously, players needed to unlock nine military camos before accessing a special camo. Now, this requirement has been reduced to five military camos, although two special camos are still needed to earn mastery camos.
The community has long discussed the challenge of tracking progress and earning the necessary headshots and kills to equip all the available camos. It's clear that Treyarch has listened to player feedback and introduced more efficient ways to earn and enjoy these customization options in *Call of Duty: Black Ops 6*.
