Celebrate Warcraft's 30th Anniversary in Candy Crush Saga!
Blizzard is commemorating Warcraft's 30th anniversary with a surprising collaboration: a Candy Crush Saga event! From November 22nd to December 6th, players can choose to fight for the Humans (Team Tiffi) or the Orcs (Team Yeti) in a series of team-vs-team challenges.
This unique event, dubbed "Warcraft Games," features qualifiers, knockouts, and a final showdown. Victorious players will earn impressive rewards, including 200 in-game gold bars.
An Unexpected Partnership
This collaboration between the iconic Warcraft franchise and the popular match-3 game, Candy Crush Saga, is certainly unexpected. However, given the massive success of both franchises and their shared connection through Activision Blizzard, the partnership makes a strange sort of sense. It also highlights Warcraft's broad appeal, extending beyond its core fanbase.
