The Future of Captain America in the MCU
After "Brave New World," Captain America is expected to appear in "Avengers: Doomsday," slated for May 1, 2026. While reports suggested both Mackie and Evans would return, Evans clarified he would not reprise his role. Captain America may also feature in "Avengers: Secret Wars," set for May 7, 2027. Mackie hinted at his involvement in both films, though only Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom has been officially announced for the cast.
