Genshin Impact Version 5.4: Introducing Yumemizuki Mizuki, a 5-Star Anemo Catalyst
Yumemizuki Mizuki, a new 5-Star Anemo character hailing from Inazuma, is slated to debut in Genshin Impact's Version 5.4. Following the conclusion of the Natlan storyline in Version 5.3, this update offers a smaller-scale Inazuma-focused adventure, centered around a yokai-themed Flagship Event with Yae Miko playing a prominent role.
Mizuki's arrival as a playable character has been anticipated since late 2024, with numerous leaks suggesting her introduction as Inazuma's first Standard Banner character. Version 5.4's beta confirmed this, along with her abilities and intended role. A 5-Star Anemo Catalyst user, Mizuki functions similarly to Sucrose, but with added healing capabilities. While Sucrose may excel in specific situations, Mizuki's versatility makes her a valuable asset in most Taser teams.
Mizuki's official reveal, slightly delayed from the anticipated timeline, further showcased her personality. While previously known as a tapir yokai, the marketing campaign unveiled her as a psychologist and the majority owner of Aisa Bathhouse. Her established friendship with Yae Miko strongly suggests her introduction will coincide with the Flagship Event. Additionally, a dedicated Story Quest for Mizuki is planned for Version 5.4.
Yumemizuki Mizuki Details:
- Title: Embrace of Enchanting Dreams
- Rarity: 5-Star
- Vision: Anemo
- Weapon: Catalyst
- Constellation: Tapirus Somniator
Version 5.4's Event Banners are expected to feature Mizuki and Wriothesley in the first half, followed by Furina and Sigewinne in the second. Post-Version 5.4, Mizuki will join the Standard Banner, prompting collection-focused players to prioritize acquiring her Signature Weapon.
In contrast to the content-rich Version 5.3, Version 5.4 presents a more streamlined experience. It will include only one new character, one Story Quest, no new Artifact Domain, and no map expansion. Consequently, the Primogem rewards will be lower than average. Players should consider saving their Lantern Rite rewards for Version 5.4, particularly if they aim to obtain highly sought-after Fontaine characters like Furina or Wriothesley, unless Version 5.3's Chronicled Banner offers a compelling alternative.
