Cheat Developer Shuts Down, Players Doubt Claim

Phantom Overlay, a prominent provider of cheats for Call of Duty, has announced its immediate closure. In a statement shared on Telegram, the company assured its users that this decision is not an exit scam and emphasized their commitment to maintaining their systems online for an additional 32 days. This extension aims to allow users with 30-day keys to fully utilize their subscriptions, and the company has also promised partial refunds for those who purchased lifetime keys.

The shutdown of Phantom Overlay is expected to have a ripple effect throughout the cheating community, as many other cheat providers rely on its systems. This development has sparked varied reactions among gamers. One player expressed surprise and optimism on X, wondering if this could mean an effective Season 3 cheat update.
