Shadow Milk Cookie, a powerful Cookie drawing energy from another dimension, unleashes his "Puppet Show" skill. This skill targets low-HP enemies, inflicting periodic damage culminating in a Grand Finale that strikes all enemies and applies Taint for amplified damage. Even after defeat, he transforms into his Shadow Form, continuing his puppet summoning.
Candy Apple Cookie, wielding a colossal lollipop, crushes enemies, reducing their attack and defense. The shattering lollipop creates HP shields for allies and boosts their attack. His shards further enhance damage dealt to enemies, solidifying his position as a valuable ally.
The Spire of Shadows storyline introduces Confusion and Distortion mechanics (as seen in Stage 7-4). Confusion increases damage taken by the team, while simultaneously boosting Shadow Milk and Candy Apple Cookies. The Domain of Deceit effect, active on select stages, lessens the damage these Cookies receive, adding a strategic layer to combat.
Players will also accompany Pure Vanilla Cookie on his journey to the Spire of All Knowledge, uncovering crucial memories and secrets that will shape the fate of the Cookie World. Completing this episode unlocks Bear Jelly Balloon expeditions, providing access to Yeast Ore and increased Rainbow Pearls at the Trade Harbor.
