- Cookie Run: Kingdom is introducing a new character customization feature, allowing you to create your very own cookie.
- This update also brings new minigames, additional content, and more exciting additions.
- Its timing seems perfect, arriving just after the unfortunate Dark Cacao controversy.
Cookie Run: Kingdom, the popular game from Devsisters, has offered a first look at its latest mode. The MyCookie creator was revealed on the game's official Twitter and appears to introduce a feature where players can design and personalize their own in-game cookie.
The preview, shown below, also hints at new minigames such as Error Busters and a quiz mode. However, the highlight for fans will likely be the ability to craft their very own playable character.
Longtime Cookie Run enthusiasts and regular readers may recall last month's uproar when Devsisters introduced a new version of the beloved character Dark Cacao. Instead of reworking the original character, they added a separate version with a new rarity level, which upset many in the community.

Considering that recent backlash, this new update appears to be a thoughtful move to regain player favor. After all, if you can't get the exact character version you want, why not build it yourself? Combined with new minigames, this looks like a substantial content package.
Realistically, this feature was probably in development long before the Dark Cacao situation. Still, its arrival might help shift attention away from the negative reception of that earlier update.
