One of the most talked-about additions to the game is the Moo Moo Meadows Cow, now a playable character. But the buzz around Cow took an interesting turn when fans noticed a potential conundrum in the Nintendo Direct 2 trailer. In the trailer, Mario is seen chowing down on a burger. Given that burgers are typically made from beef, the question on everyone's mind was: Would Cow, whose kin might be the source of said beef, indulge in beef herself?

At the Nintendo preview event, we got our answer. The food items featured in the trailer are available at Yoshi's diner locations throughout the courses in Mario Kart World. These diners operate like drive-thrus, allowing racers to grab take-out bags similar to item boxes. Inside these bags, you can find a variety of foods, including burgers, steak kebabs, pizza, and donuts.
And yes, Cow can indeed eat them all. IGN confirmed this with a tweet:

During our session, we observed Cow enjoying various items, including the burger. However, the effects of these foods on Cow remain a bit of a mystery.
