How To Craft & Level Up Gems In Dynasty Warriors: Origins
Gem crafting in Dynasty Warriors: Origins is facilitated using Pyroxene, which can be done at any Inn or tent within the game. To start crafting, navigate to your room and select the "Create Gems" option, the second from the top. You can use as much Pyroxene as you have, crafting gems at a one-to-one ratio. There are five types of gems you can craft, and each Pyroxene used has a chance to create any one of these gems.
Once you craft a base gem, it starts at level 1 and can be equipped from the Battle Preparations menu. Subsequent crafts of the same gem type will contribute XP to the base gem, leveling it up and enhancing its effectiveness. If you're not aiming for specific gems, it's beneficial to use all your Pyroxene at once to craft multiple gems and level them up randomly.
For those who prefer specific gems, you might trigger the "Eyes of the Sacred Bird" effect, which temporarily limits the types of gems that can be crafted with the Pyroxene used. This can be activated by crafting a single gem, and you can cancel it by exiting and re-entering the gem crafting menu. While this method can be more time-consuming, it increases your chances of crafting the desired gem.
The "Eyes of the Sacred Bird" helps manage the randomness of gem crafting but does not eliminate it entirely. Here are the five gems you can craft, along with their passive boosts:

Where To Get Pyroxene In Dynasty Warriors: Origins
Pyroxene can be found scattered throughout the game's overworld, appearing as distinctive orange crystals protruding from the ground. Interacting with these crystals will grant you one Pyroxene and cause the crystal to disappear. After completing Skirmishes or Battles, some Pyroxene crystals will respawn, encouraging you to revisit previously explored areas to gather more. Additionally, you may occasionally receive Pyroxene from letters you can read in your room at an Inn or tent.
