Arise Crossover: Beginner's Guide (Beta)

Author : Zoe Apr 15,2025

If you're diving into *Arise Crossover* and finding yourself scratching your head about how to progress, level up, or choose the right Shadows, this guide is here to help you navigate through the game's intricacies. Despite its seemingly straightforward mechanics of using Shadow units to attack non-responsive enemies to strengthen your roster, *Arise Crossover* can be surprisingly complex, especially as you approach the endgame.

How Shadows Work in Arise Crossover

In Arise Crossover, each of the three islands hosts various recruitable Shadows and one formidable dungeon Shadow. The Shadows are categorized by type, with Soondoo being the weakest, available from the start, and Mifalcon, found on the final Brum Island, being the strongest.

However, it's not just about the type but also the rank that matters. A Rank A Soondoo will outperform a Rank D Mifalcon. Higher-ranked units can achieve higher levels; for instance, a Rank D unit tops out at Level 75, while an SS unit can reach Level 200. The ultimate goal is to assemble a team of four SS-ranked Mifalcons, but the journey to get there is filled with strategic challenges.

Dungeon Portals in Arise Crossover appear every 30 minutes and remain open for 15 minutes. Even if you enter just before a portal closes, you can complete the dungeon as if you've entered a separate game instance.

Portals can appear in various locations across the islands, with their difficulty rank being randomly determined.

When starting out, aim to assemble a team of Rank D units and tackle a Rank D or C dungeon on Leveling Island. This approach can help you recruit a solid team and potentially snag a rare boss Shadow. Dungeons are your gateway to acquiring both Rare and higher-ranked common units.

Whenever a portal spawns, seize the opportunity. Even if your team isn't up to par, linger near the portal; chances are, a more experienced player will help you through. Many players can solo dungeons and often don't mind carrying others, fostering a community spirit of cooperation. Recruiting Shadows from dungeons is the key to progressing in Arise Crossover.

Our own experience involved a kind player guiding us through a Rank A dungeon with only Rank C units, allowing us to recruit Rank A Shadows and reach the endgame. We later paid it forward by helping players with Rank D units navigate a Rank S dungeon. We encourage you to continue this cycle of support.

Arise Crossover Weapons

During this Beta phase, player weapons in Arise Crossover are largely ineffective. They might offer some utility early on, but by the second island, their impact diminishes significantly.

The Iron Kando Blade, the most potent common weapon currently available, costs 60 million and deals 516.1K damage. Contrast this with your units' output of 200 to 400 million damage, and it's clear that unless you're flush with cash, it's best to hold off on weapon purchases until the game is updated.

How to Get a Mount in Arise Crossover

Similar to dungeons, wild mounts spawn every 15 minutes, with only one player per server able to attempt to claim them. A server-wide message alerts players to a new mount spawn, though you won't be notified if someone else claims it or if it vanishes.

Mounts can appear in six different locations: on the back of the main islands or on smaller side islands between them. Check the developer's map for precise spawn points.

You can only claim a specific mount once. Attempts to capture a mount can fail, and flying mounts are the rarest, with a 10% spawn rate. Ground mounts appear more frequently, while water mounts are available for purchase from the Boat Shop NPC.

To get a mount, keep an eye out for the server message and rush to the six possible locations. If you miss one, just wait for the next announcement. We're still on the hunt for a flying mount, which, while not essential for progression, certainly makes travel more convenient.

That covers the essentials of Arise Crossover. We'll keep this guide updated as the game evolves. In the meantime, don't forget to check out the Arise Crossover codes for some fantastic free rewards.
