Dead by Daylight's Terrifying Junji Ito Collection: Eight New Skins Inspired by Iconic Horror Manga
Prepare for a chilling collaboration! Dead by Daylight (DbD), the asymmetrical horror multiplayer game, is partnering with renowned Japanese horror manga artist Junji Ito to bring his iconic creations to life as in-game skins. This "ultimate horror collaboration" features eight terrifying new skins inspired by Ito's most famous works.
Eight Frightening Skins to Unlock
For 40 years, Junji Ito has captivated audiences worldwide with his unique brand of surreal horror. Now, his chilling characters are invading the realm of Dead by Daylight. The collection draws inspiration from masterpieces like "Tomie," "Hanging Balloons," and "Rumors," among others.
The Killers receiving new skins are The Dredge, The Trickster, The Twins, The Spirit, and The Artist. The Spirit and The Artist will boast Legendary rarity skins, complete with custom audio and sound effects. Specifically, The Spirit will sport a Tomie skin, and The Artist will be transformed into Miss Fuchi from "Rumors." Survivors Yui Kimura, Yun-Jin Lee, and Kate Denson also join the chilling roster.
Junji Ito himself expressed his delight at seeing his creations adapted for Dead by Daylight, commenting on their enhanced terror in the game's environment. He even participated in a gameplay session, taking on the role of The Artist as Miss Fuchi.
