Dead Cells Launches Its Two Final Free Updates on Android

It's a bittersweet moment for Dead Cells Mobile fans! After years of consistent updates since 2018, the developers have announced the end of new content. But don't worry, the game itself will remain playable. Let's delve into what these final updates, "Clean Cut" and "The End is Near," bring to the table. Both are now available on Android.

What's New?

These final updates pack a punch! Prepare for four brand-new weapons, including the quirky giant Sewing Scissors and the high-risk, high-reward Misericorde sword. The Misericorde delivers massive critical damage to low-health enemies, but missing the killing blow inflicts a curse upon you. Similarly, the Anathema, a heavy ranged weapon, explodes on impact but also curses you if it hits anything. Balancing this risk is the new Indulgence skill, which unleashes a powerful beam of light, capable of cleansing some of your accumulated curses.

Beyond weapons, the updates introduce exciting new game modes: Speedrun and Boss Rush DIY. There are also 40 fresh heads to customize your character, and a convenient NPC allows you to swap them at will. Watch the trailer below to see the final updates in action!

New Mutations and Enemies

The final updates also introduce a trio of intriguing new mutations: Cursed Flask lets you use health flasks without consuming charges; Damned Vigor grants a brief period of invincibility after a kill; and Demonic Strength boosts your damage when cursed.

Prepare to face new challenges with the addition of menacing new enemies. The Sore Loser curses you upon death and clings to you; the Curser launches guided cursed skulls and attacks up close; and the formidable Doom Bringer can instantly kill you if you accumulate over 50 curses.

Download Dead Cells from the Google Play Store and experience these final updates before they're gone!
