The Delta Force PC Alpha Test kicked off at around Aug 5, 9 p.m. EDT / 6 p.m. PDT, giving eager fans the chance to dive into the action. However, the developers announced on August 30 that the Alpha Test would conclude on September 8, or Sept 7, 8 p.m. EDT / 5 p.m. PDT for the United States.

Gamers had multiple ways to secure their spot in the Alpha Test, including:

July 24 Update: New Alpha Test Date Announced

Delta Force thrilled fans by announcing a new date for the delayed **Alpha test on August 6, 2024**! Participants could try their luck at getting in through the official website, the official Steam page, or by snagging keys via Twitch drops or giveaways. One notable giveaway on their official Twitter/X account saw 100 lucky winners receiving codes for the Alpha test.

July 16 Update: Alpha Test Postponed

From the pre-alpha test held from July 11 - 15, the developers identified several critical errors that disrupted gameplay for the limited number of participants. As a result, they had to postpone the July Alpha test to focus on fixing the game and ensuring "the best experience possible" for players.

Initially Scheduled Alpha Test

Delta Force was originally set to launch its Alpha Test on July 18, with no end date announced. Fans could attempt to gain access through various channels, such as filling out player surveys on the official website, requesting access on the official Steam page, or watching Twitch streams to receive Steam keys as Twitch Drops.

The pre-alpha test from July 11 to 15 served as a stress test, allowing a small subset of players early access. Requesting access through all available avenues might have granted this early-early access.

The Alpha Test was exclusively for PC, accessible through the game's official client or Steam. Note that access to one platform did not guarantee access to the other, as cross-progression was not available during the alpha test.
