Rest and Recuperation in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Sleep is paramount in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, offering a crucial method to fully restore health without relying solely on food and potions. This guide details where to find a place to rest your weary head.
Securing a Bed
Early in the game, acquiring your own bed is vital. Completing either the blacksmith (Radovan) or miller (Kreyzl) questline during the "Wedding Crashers" quest will grant you access to a bed. Radovan's questline, located in the closer town of Tachov, is a convenient option. After completing the smithing tutorial, you'll gain access to a bed in a room adjacent to the forge.
This bed will be marked on your world map as your designated sleeping spot. A nearby chest provides convenient storage.
Utilizing Campsites
When immediate access to your bed isn't feasible, numerous campsites scattered throughout the game world offer alternative resting places. While some may be occupied by bandits requiring prior engagement, others are unoccupied. These campsites, marked on your map, allow you to utilize bedrolls for sleep. Note that the comfort level is lower than a proper bed, but sufficient for health regeneration.
Sleeping in an NPC's bed is a last resort, as it risks attracting unwanted attention from guards if discovered.
