"Discovering the Pack-a-Punch Location in Black Ops 6 Zombies' Tomb"

Author : Owen Jun 22,2025

Pack-a-Punch is one of the most essential upgrades available to players in Call of Duty Zombies, offering powerful weapon enhancements that can turn the tide of battle. In the new Black Ops 6 Zombies map, The Tomb, locating the Pack-a-Punch machine can be a bit challenging at first. Here’s a clear guide on how to find the Pack-a-Punch machine in The Tomb on Black Ops 6.

How to Open the Doorway to Nowhere and Access Pack-a-Punch

Unlike previous maps like Terminus and Citadelle des Morts, accessing Pack-a-Punch in The Tomb doesn’t require collecting multiple parts or solving complex puzzles. Instead, all players must do is reach the machine once it becomes accessible. However, reaching it isn't immediately straightforward.

At the start of every match, players are presented with the objective to open the Doorway to Nowhere—a teleporter that grants access to the Dark Aether Nexus, where the Pack-a-Punch machine initially spawns.

To unlock the Doorway to Nowhere, head to the Subterranean Temple area of The Tomb. Progress through the map by opening doors until you arrive at the altar within the temple. You’ll always spawn with the Amulet item already in your inventory, so there's no need to search for it. Simply hold the interact button at the altar to place the Amulet, activating the doorway after a few seconds.

Once activated, step through the portal to enter the Dark Aether Nexus, where the Pack-a-Punch machine will be located relatively close to the center of the area.

Keep in mind: The Pack-a-Punch machine does not remain in one location permanently—it moves over time. If you wish to continue upgrading weapons, here's how to track its current position.

All Pack-a-Punch Locations in The Tomb and How To Find Them

There are [ttpp] known locations where the Pack-a-Punch machine can appear in The Tomb. The initial spawn point is always inside the Dark Aether Nexus, but it will later relocate to a second key area.

The alternate location is much closer to the player spawn zone—specifically, at the top of the Dig Site, inside an ornate ruin called the Roman Mausoleum. When the machine isn’t in the Dark Aether Nexus, it will be here.

To determine where the Pack-a-Punch machine currently resides:

  • Use the Tac-Map: The main map area and the Dark Aether Nexus have separate Tac-Maps. If the Pack-a-Punch icon doesn’t appear on your current map view, switch areas and check again.

  • Check the Stone Slab Indicator: Similar to tracking the Mystery Box, a stone slab within the map features illuminated indicators showing the machine’s location. If the symbol appears on the main section of the slab, head to the corresponding spot on the main map. If the lighted symbol appears on a detached island portion of the slab, the machine is currently in the Dark Aether Nexus.

By following these steps, you’ll never lose track of the Pack-a-Punch machine and can keep your arsenal upgraded throughout your zombie-slaying session in The Tomb.
