Disney Dreamlight Valley's next free update, Emotional Rescue, is arriving soon—and it's set to pull at your heartstrings. Inspired by Inside Out, this chapter welcomes Joy and Sadness, introduces an exciting realm to discover, and delivers seasonal events and rewards that breathe new life into your Valley.
Your journey in the Emotional Rescue update starts at Riley's Headquarters, where you step into the shoes of a Mind Worker tasked with fixing her emotional Control Console. Guided by Joy's positivity and Sadness' sincere empathy, you'll assemble a Dream Production to rekindle Riley's long-term memories and restore her emotional balance.
Place a portable Headquarters in your Valley and invite both characters to move in, unlocking special quests, friendship rewards, and touching story moments. And the excitement doesn’t stop there. Beginning September 3, the beloved Memory Mania mini-event is back with a nostalgic theme.
Search the Valley for Riley's lost phone to earn themed prizes, such as a charming Nostalgia Capybara companion—available until September 16. Combine that with the update’s DreamSnaps challenges, and you'll find weekly opportunities to express your creativity.
For those holding onto summer a little longer, the Retro Roadtrip Star Path offers laid-back retro outfits, diner-style furniture, and a rock-and-roll Fox companion. The Star Path now feels even more rewarding with updated Duties, a streamlined progression system, and new tasks like Companion interactions and Photo Gallery Challenges.
