Approximately two and a half years ago, we were treated to the delightful dungeon crawler, Dungeons of Dreadrock, from developer Christoph Minnameier. Inspired by classics like Dungeon Master and Eye of the Beholder, this top-down perspective game presented a unique challenge with its 100 puzzle-filled levels. Each floor of the dungeon presented a new brain-teaser, requiring players to strategically navigate traps and enemies to rescue their captured brother. Our review praised its difficulty and inventive level design, and the game went on to achieve widespread success across numerous platforms. Now, get ready for the highly anticipated sequel: Dungeons of Dreadrock 2 – The Dead King’s Secret.
The striking red background and prominent Nintendo Switch logo, accompanied by the familiar snap sound effect, confirm that this latest installment will debut on the Nintendo Switch eShop on November 28th. However, PC gamers need not despair! A PC version is also in development and available to wishlist on Steam. Mobile gamers will also be pleased to know that iOS and Android versions are planned. While precise release dates for these platforms are yet to be announced, their inclusion is welcome news. We will, of course, provide updates as soon as further release information becomes available.
