For those who might not be aware, the Epic Games Store for mobile mirrors its PC version by offering free games that you can claim for a limited time. The best part? On mobile, you get not just monthly but weekly free games, and this week, there are two exciting titles up for grabs: Loop Hero and Chuchel.
In the last week of April, Epic Games Store is giving away two fantastic games completely free of charge: Loop Hero and Chuchel. If you're a regular reader of Pocket Gamer, you'll recognize Loop Hero as one of our top favorites, with Jack's review praising its engaging roguelike gameplay. If you only have time for one of these, make sure it's Loop Hero.
But what about Chuchel? This surreal animated adventure game follows the character Chuchel on a quest to retrieve his stolen cherry. Along the way, Chuchel and his rival Kekel find themselves in a series of hilarious and bizarre situations, which you'll need to navigate or simply enjoy watching unfold.
When our App Army reviewed Chuchel upon its release, they found it a bit perplexing but ultimately enjoyable. Even if it's not your usual genre, you can't beat the price of free. On the other hand, Loop Hero is highly recommended for its blend of challenging gameplay and stunning pixel art.
The Epic Games Store for mobile brings many of the same benefits as its PC counterpart, including these free game releases and access to popular titles like Fortnite, which are otherwise unavailable on mobile devices.
