How to Beat All Monsters in E.R.P.O.
With new monsters planned for future updates, we recommend bookmarking this page for ongoing updates. Below you'll find specific strategies for each creature. While most monsters have particular weaknesses, you can also engage them with various weapons:
Melee Combat: Available weapons like Machetes and Hammers can be purchased for 10k-20k cash. These spawn in subsequent levels and can be picked up (M1) and swung at enemies. Exercise caution against ranged attackers like the Huntsman. Hit-and-run tactics help minimize damage - always carry healing items when attempting melee engagements.
Explosives: Shop items include Grenades and Mines. Activate grenades by picking up (M1), uncorking (E), then throwing or dropping them. Mines require placement and detonate when stepped on - both deal massive damage to lesser monsters and significantly weaken tougher ones.
Monster Manipulation: Clever positioning can make Huntsmen accidentally shoot other monsters if you take cover behind them while making noise (walking or voice chat). Similarly, you can bait attacking Reapers into damaging each other or other creatures.
Robe Guide (Ghost)

This shadowy entity inflicts damage upon contact. Evade by crouching or kiting around the environment. Eliminate efficiently with two grenades or mines - baiting it to specific locations works best. Melee combat isn't recommended due to Robe's high damage output. Beware - maintaining eye contact with its mask increases its movement speed, and it can teleport unpredictably.
Reaper Guide

The Reaper appears as a ragged doll with spinning blade arms. Unlike Robe, it cannot teleport but requires similar kiting tactics. Melee weapons prove more effective here due to its moderate damage output. A single grenade paired with a few melee hits typically defeats it. Note: Explosives temporarily stun Reapers.
Apex Predator Guide (Duck)

These harmless-looking ducks remain passive unless provoked by grabbing or environmental damage. Once angered, they relentlessly chase while dealing minor bite damage. Their low health makes them vulnerable to melee weapons - grenades work but are unnecessary. Outrunning them remains the safest option.
Huntsman Guide

The blind Huntsman wields a deadly one-shot firearm. It detects players through voice chat or fast movements near it. Always crouch (C) and utilize table cover. Melee attacks prove fatal due to its auto-aim. Instead, place mines near its patrol route or throw grenades while crouched - explosions deafen it temporarily (6 seconds), creating melee attack opportunities.
