Peep Demo Theater Returns

MGS Delta Peep Demo Theater Returning As Revealed by ESRB Rating

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater (MGS Delta) has been rated M for Mature by the ESRB, confirming the return of a notable feature from the original game: the Peep Demo Theater. This feature, which first appeared in the Subsistence and HD Collection versions of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, allows players to view all cutscenes featuring the female spy EVA, but with a twist—she appears in her underwear. Players can manipulate the camera freely, zooming in on any part of her body. To unlock this mode, players must collect all other cutscenes in the Demo Theater, a task that requires completing the game four times.

The ESRB rating also highlights the game's violent themes, as players take on the role of an elite soldier navigating enemy territory. While the violence is expected, the return of the Peep Demo Theater, often referred to as "Creepy mode," has surprised many fans due to its controversial nature.

Faster Camouflage System

MGS Delta introduces a significant quality-of-life improvement with its faster camouflage system. A recent post from METAL GEAR OFFICIAL on Twitter (X) on March 28 showcased this new feature, stating, "Change camouflage for faces, uniforms, and more on the fly with this new feature in METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER."

The video demonstration revealed that players can now switch their camouflage in under three seconds, a stark contrast to the original game's cumbersome process. In Metal Gear Solid 3, changing camouflage required pausing the game, navigating through menus, and selecting the desired option, which often disrupted the flow of stealth missions and diminished the game's immersive experience.

As the release date of August 26, 2025, approaches, anticipation for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater grows. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, promising both nostalgic elements and modern enhancements to enrich the player's journey.
