Mastering Pokémon battles in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, whether conquering Tera Raids or climbing the ranked ladder, hinges on strategic stat distribution. Simply leveling up through random encounters leaves your Pokémon with suboptimal stats. Fortunately, efficiently farming Attack EVs is achievable with the right knowledge.
This guide details the best locations for maximizing Attack EVs.

Pokémon Center Area – North Province (Area Two)

A community favorite, this northeastern area near Team Star's Fighting Crew base is brimming with Attack EV-granting Pokémon: Lokix, Scyther, Bisharp, Heracross, Dratini, and Ursaring. Note that not all Pokémon here provide purely Attack EVs; Falinks, for example, also boosts Special Defense. Consistent battles are key for optimal results.
Eastern Edge of Porto Marinada

For precise EV farming, the eastern outskirts of Porto Marinada offer groups of Paldean Tauros. Each defeated Tauros yields 2 EVs, boosted to 10 with a Power Bracer, allowing for fine-tuned EV adjustments.
How to Use the Power Bracer for EV Training
Before embarking on your EV training, equip the Power Bracer. This item grants an additional +8 Attack EVs per defeated Pokémon, significantly accelerating the process. A Pokémon yielding 1 EV normally gains 9 with the Power Bracer. While faster methods exist, this offers cost-effectiveness compared to mass vitamin purchases. Purchase the Power Bracer for 10,000 Pokédollars at Delibird Presents in Mesagoza, Levincia, and Cascarrafa.

Best Pokémon for EV Attack Training

Mass outbreaks significantly boost EV gains. Below are two excellent choices for efficient training.
Flamigo

Flamigo, common near lakes and swamps, appear at various levels, making them suitable even for early-game training. Southeastern lakes in the South Province (near Grasswither Shrine) and Casseroya Watchtower No. 1 (south of Casseroya Lake) offer good hunting grounds, especially during "Encounter Power: Fighting" bonuses. Note that Casseroya Watchtower Flamigo are around level 50. Avoid level 9-20 Pokémon with the "Detect" ability.
Paldean Tauros

Found in central-western and central-eastern regions, Paldean Tauros usually appear in groups of five, particularly during Fighting-type encounter rate bonuses. The area south of Levincia is ideal for efficient training. Some possess the "Intimidate" ability, slightly slowing battles.
EV Attack Training Recommendations

Both Flamigo and Paldean Tauros are excellent choices, appearing in groups and yielding 2 Attack EVs each (10 with the Power Bracer). Only 26 battles are needed to reach the 252 EV cap. Remember, regular Tauros only grant 1 EV, so avoid them.
The "Tropical Sandwich" (Every Wich Way) activates the "Encounter Power: Fighting Lv. 1" bonus, increasing Fighting-type Pokémon encounters.

Use Kelpsy Berries to reduce EVs by 10 if you overshoot your target.

Efficient EV training requires patience. Utilize North Province Area Two for rapid EV gains, equip the Power Bracer, and target Flamigo or Paldean Tauros during mass outbreaks. Avoid auto-battles and Pokémon with hindering abilities for optimal efficiency.
