Grove Street Games, Snail Games, and Studio Wildcard have released a significant update for ARK: Ultimate Mobile Edition, introducing the massive Ragnarok expansion map. This is a substantial upgrade for existing players and well worth exploring.
The Ragnarok Map: A Vast Prehistoric Landscape
The Ragnarok expansion boasts a sprawling 144 square kilometers of diverse prehistoric terrains. Prepare to encounter new biomes, fearsome creatures, and a particularly hazardous volcano. Adding to the excitement, ARK is also hosting the Love Evolved event, running until February 16th, 2025, introducing a touch of romance to the prehistoric survival experience.
Ragnarok’s immense scale features towering mountain peaks, expansive forests, intricate winding caverns, and the aforementioned active volcano. This vast landscape also introduces thrilling new creatures, including the Ice Wyvern, Dire Polar Bears, and the legendary Griffon, whose devastating dive-bomb attack will change your combat strategies.
The Ragnarok map is included with the ARK Pass in the Ultimate Mobile Edition. If you don't own the pass, the map can be purchased separately. Regardless of how you access it, prepare for an adventure blending elements from The Island and Scorched Earth maps.
Love Evolved Event: Prehistoric Romance
Survival in ARK just got a little more romantic! For the first time on mobile, experience the Love Evolved event, offering exclusive Valentine's-themed cosmetics, candy, and chocolates. This event also provides boosted rates for harvesting, taming, experience gain, and breeding, making your prehistoric journey a bit easier (and sweeter).
