- Sign in to add the inaugural family to your roster
- The Maker and High Evolutionary enter the battle
- Complete quests for Reed Richards through July 9th
Marvel Contest of Champions previously unveiled details about its Fantastic Four-themed content last month, but today we're diving deeper into the event specifics to build excitement for the Fantastic Four: First Steps release on July 25th.
As someone genuinely excited about the film, the anticipation feels completely justified – especially with the fighting game introducing multiple themed events centered around Marvel's original superhero family. The Future Foundation Event will have you assisting the team by completing objectives throughout The Battlerealm, while the "Vaults of Variant" Side Quest, available until July 9th, challenges you to aid Reed Richards with his manipulations of the Multiverse.
I can't confirm whether this hints at film spoilers (I've learned to be cautious), but it certainly adds an intriguing layer to the narrative.
Additionally, both The Maker and High Evolutionary will join the roster, becoming available on July 17th and July 31st respectively. Could this also hint at film revelations? Only time will reveal the answer.
Meanwhile, a login event running through August 14th will offer opportunities to unlock Mister Fantastic, Invisible Woman, The Human Torch, and The Thing. To see how these characters measure up against existing champions, explore our Marvel Contest of Champions tier list.
If you're ready to dive into the action, download the game for free via Google Play or the App Store. The game follows a free-to-play model with optional in-app purchases.
