Successfully passing a dialogue check during the talks can cause one member of the opposing side to flee, simplifying the ensuing battle. Triumphing in the skirmish for either side will earn you groschen.
How to Stop the Feud
For a more amicable resolution, before heading to the pasture, inquire with Prochek or Olbram about ending the feud. Then, travel to Troskowitz and speak with Baliff Thrush, selecting the dialogue option, "You’d finally have some peace." Passing the subsequent dialogue check grants you access to the scribe’s room to consult the Troskowitz Chronicle. If persuasion fails, consider sneaking in, but remember to save your game beforehand.
