Free Fire has brought its Winterlands festival back this year with some bright Aurora. There are tons of new features like Frosty Tracks, a tactical mastermind named Koda and a magical aurora that turns everything into a winter wonderland.
Here Are the Details of Winterlands: Aurora in Free Fire
Koda is the latest character to join Free Fire. Born in some high-tech arctic land, Koda’s signature move, Aurora Vision, lets him zoom around with extra speed and spot enemies hiding behind cover. And while parachuting, you get a sneak peek at enemy locations within view.
Koda’s backstory is as interesting as his skills. As a kid, Koda stumbled upon a mystical fox mask under the glow of an aurora and bonded with snow foxes. So, he now channels all that focus and speed into the battlefield.
As mentioned before, aurora is the theme this year in Free Fire Winterlands. Bermuda is decked out with an aurora-filled sky and a new Aurora Forecast system. The little weather predictor also changes gameplay. Depending on the forecast, you get buffs that can turn the tide of a fight.
And the Frosty Tracks are a new set of icy, rideable paths scattered across the map in Battle Royale and Clash Squad modes. You can skate through places like the Festival Clock Tower and Factory in Bermuda, firing shots and tossing grenades.
If you hit one of the Special Coin Machines along the tracks, you’ll snag 100 FF Coins. In Clash Squad, you’ll find the frosty highways in spots like Katulistiwa, Mill and Hangar. On that note, catch a glimpse of Winterlands: Aurora in Free Fire right here!
There Are Random Aurora Events Popping Up Too!
In Battle Royale, keep an eye out for aurora-affected Coin Machines. In Clash Squad, look for Supply Gadgets glowing with that magical aurora touch. Hit them up to complete event quests and score buffs for your whole squad.
Free Fire has also added a fun little twist to playing with friends during Winterlands: Aurora. When you squad up, your friends show up as cute little snowballs on the event interface, sliding along with you. Complete some exclusive friend tasks and unlock rewards like an AWM skin and a Melee Skin.
