Event Requirements:
To join the fun, you'll need:
- Adventure Rank 20 or higher.
- Completion of the Mondstadt Archon Quest Prologue. While not mandatory, completing Xianyun's Story Quest, "Grus Serena Chapter," adds context, as Shuyu features in it.
Gameplay:
The event is simple: use your Onikabuto beetle in simulated battles (within your Serenitea Pot at Mt. Aocang) against various enemies. This mirrors the in-game pastime of beetle battling.
Controls are basic: Forward, Backward, and Jump. Stamina management is key; movement and stronger attacks (like Piercing Strike) consume stamina.
Here's a breakdown of each stage's opponent and strategy:
- Staff Master (Basic Hilichurl): Repeated head attacks work well. Dodge ground markings indicating attacks.
- Torch-Wielding Hilichurl Berserker: Target the head; the Pyro Slime it carries is also a weak point, especially when preparing to throw it.
- Pyro Abyss Mage: Interrupt its incantations, then attack repeatedly. Dodge fireballs and flame pillars.
- Cryo Abyss Mage: Use the same strategy as the Pyro Abyss Mage.
- Stonehide Lawachurl: Quick attacks are essential. A Geo Slime will appear; use Piercing Strike for maximum damage.
Difficulty and Strategy:
Choose "Focused Fight" (two-star difficulty) for optimal Primogem rewards (30 and 20, depending on the stage). "Utmost Might" (three-star) offers Mora and Enhancement Ores but no Primogems. Utilize Piercing Strikes strategically.
Consult the "Dossier on Opponent" for enemy behavior tips. Co-op mode is available; select "Match" to team up.
Rewards:
Complete all challenges on Utmost Might difficulty to earn 420 Primogems. Additional rewards include Hero's Wit, Sanctifying Unction, Mora, and Mystic Enhancement Ore.
