On the occasion of the release of the "Nyras Prologue" demo for the Gothic 1 Remake, THQ Nordic and Alkimia Interactive have unveiled an exciting new trailer. In a fresh twist on the classic game, players will now step into the shoes of a prisoner named Nyras, though the core objective remains the same—surviving the game's unforgiving world.
The Gothic Remake demo was launched during the Steam Next Fest event, quickly setting a new benchmark for concurrent players within the series:

The demo showcases the remake's enhanced graphics, smoother animations, and a revamped combat system, all powered by Unreal Engine 5.
