Surfer Jay, a promising recruit found in Honolulu, brings impressive base stats to your crew, surpassing those of earlier members. However, recruiting him is a bit more involved and requires some strategic sailing. The process can be tackled in any order, but starting your journey in Madlantis to secure the key item, Kraken-Chan, is advisable.
Upon reaching Madlantis, head to the tent opposite the Madlantis Golf Range, where you'll find a claw machine and arcade games. Focus on the UFO Catcher Game, which might have the blue plush known as Kraken-Chan that Surfer Jay is looking for. If Kraken-Chan isn't available, simply ask the attendant to refresh the prizes in the machine.
