"Guide to Winning the A Prize Held High in Monster Hunter Wilds"

In *Monster Hunter Wilds*, there's a wealth of activities to dive into beyond just hunting down the largest beasts. If you're aiming to unlock the coveted A Prize Held High trophy or achievement, here's your step-by-step guide on how to do it.

How To Unlock the A Prize Held High Trophy/Achievement in Monster Hunter Wilds

You might assume this achievement is linked to dragons or wyverns, but surprisingly, your target is the elusive Curioshell Crab, which you can capture using the Capture Net.

Locating the Curioshell Crab can be challenging as it appears across various maps. Our most reliable spot has been the Scarlet Forest. From the base camp, head towards Area 6: Flowering Rocks pop-up camp, situated between Areas 2 and 6.

Once you're at the Flowering Rocks, check the nearby puddle of water—a prime spawning spot for the Curioshell Crab. If you can't spot it, Alma can help. She'll mention if a creature nearby is holding something, signaling the presence of a Curioshell Crab.

Equip your Capture Net, aim carefully until the reticle turns orange, and fire to capture the crab. A successful capture will reward you with both a Curioshell Crab and an Ancient Wyvern Coin.

Given the Curioshell Crab's swift movements, anticipate its path and fire ahead to secure your catch. Besides the Scarlet Forest, you can also find these crabs in Area 13 of the Windward Plains or Area 8 of the Scarlet Forest. They may spawn in other areas too, but these locations have proven effective for us.

That's all you need to know to secure the A Prize Held High trophy or achievement in *Monster Hunter Wilds*. For more tips and guides, be sure to check out The Escapist.

*Monster Hunter Wilds* is now available on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
