In India, playing cricket in a tight alley, known as a gully, is often considered more enjoyable than playing on a traditional field. This unique experience has been captured by an indie Indian studio, 5th Ocean Studios, with their latest game, Gully Gangs: Street Cricket, now available in Open Beta on Android.
Not Your Typical Cricket Simulator
Gully Gangs: Street Cricket stands out as the first-ever 4v4 street cricket multiplayer game set in the vibrant and chaotic Indian gullies. These narrow alleys are not just your playing field; they're filled with life and obstacles. Imagine rooftop catches, dodging scooters, and dealing with nosy uncles who are not too pleased about broken windows. The fun doesn't stop there; you can also engage in 1v1 matches for a more personal challenge.
The game lets you unleash power moves and stay connected with your team through voice chat. You can strategize, sledge opponents, drop emojis in the heat of the match, and even resort to some crafty tricks to outplay your rivals. The settings are authentic Indian neighborhoods, bustling with life, where you'll encounter broken stumps, makeshift pitches, and unpredictable bounces off uneven walls.
Customization is a big part of Gully Gangs: Street Cricket. You have the freedom to create your gang, deck them out in funky outfits, and unlock a variety of skins to show off your unique style.
Gully Gangs: Street Cricket in Open Beta

For now, Gully Gangs: Street Cricket is exclusively available on Android, but the developers are gearing up to launch it on iOS and Steam as well. They're also adding full controller support and cross-platform features to enhance the gaming experience. If you're eager to dive into the action, you can download the game from the Google Play Store.
