A September 27th post on X (formerly Twitter) from the official GUNDAM TCG account shared a promotional video marking the launch of this "new global TCG project #GUNDAM." This initiative coincides with the Mobile Suit Gundam 45th anniversary celebrations, commemorating four and a half decades since the original series first aired. At this time, it remains unclear whether the game will be physical-only or include digital components.
More information will be unveiled during the BANDAI CARD GAMES Next Plan Announcement on October 3rd at 19:00 JST, which will be livestreamed on Bandai's official YouTube channel. The event will feature appearances by actors Kanata Hongo and Kotoko Sasaki, along with former TV Tokyo announcer Shohei Taguchi. Notably, Hongo is a passionate GUNPLA collector who previously participated in the GUNPLA 40th Anniversary Project in 2020, demonstrating his deep connection to the Gundam franchise.
