HoYoVerse is busy! Following the sneak peek at Honkai: Star Rail version 2.6, they've unveiled details for Honkai Impact 3rd version 7.8, titled "Planetary Rewind."
Honkai Impact 3rd Version 7.8: Planetary Rewind
Launching October 17th, version 7.8 introduces new battlesuits, events, and plentiful rewards. Vita gets a new MECH-type Lightning DMG battlesuit, Lone Planetfarer. This battlesuit boasts a striking peacock feather-adorned Drive Core and two forms: Lone Traveler (elegant feathered strikes) and Planet Quaker (laser beam attacks), protected by Astral Ring Specialization: Rite of Oblivion. The Divine Key Waxing Moon and its PRI-ARM, Divine Key Waxing Moon: Incipience, are also included.

Version 7.8 Story: The First and Last War
The main story, "The First and Last War," transports players back a century to Langqiu for the Ten Shus War, featuring Vita, Dreamseeker, Helia, and Coralie. Rewards include Crystals, Source Prisms, Seele's event stigma, and a new Dreamweaver outfit. HOHO Vacation Tickets return, and Elysian Realm now permanently offers LITE Combat. A celebratory event from October 11th offers free Equipment Supply Cards and Prism Stigma Direct Level-Up Coupons.
