HoYoverse's Zenless Zone Zero is making significant waves in the mobile gaming market. The recent release of the version 1.4 update, titled “And the Starfall came,” has propelled the game to new heights, achieving a record-breaking $8.6 million in daily player spending on mobile devices alone. This surpasses the previous peak set during the game's launch in July 2024.
According to data from AppMagic, Zenless Zone Zero has now accumulated over $265 million in total revenue from mobile platforms. The 1.4 update introduced exciting new agents, Hoshimi Miyabi and Asaba Harumasa, along with enhancements to game mechanics, new locations, and modes. These additions have significantly encouraged players to invest more in the game.

A key factor in this record-breaking revenue was the promotional strategy involving Asaba Harumasa, who was made available for free to all players, while a banner featuring Hoshimi Miyabi played a pivotal role in driving purchases.
The 1.4 update has also demonstrated HoYoverse's ability to maintain player engagement over an extended period. Typically, player spending decreases a week after an update, but this time, revenues remained above $1 million per day for over 11 consecutive days, and even stayed above $500,000 two weeks post-update.
Despite its impressive performance, Zenless Zone Zero still lags behind HoYoverse's flagship titles, Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, in terms of overall revenue.
